White Point Gardens Wedding | Tammy + Arnold | Charleston, SC

From the first time we had the chance to talk with Arnold and Tammy about their White Point Gardens Wedding, we knew we were going to enjoy their day.

Tammy made it clear to us that beautiful and dynamic photography was the most important thing to her during her search for the perfect Charleston wedding photographers.  That was music to our ears!

Tammy and Arnold have a lovely story.  Arnold claims that he always knew he would marry Tammy, and even told her so on their first date.  Tammy of course was skeptical, but it turned out that Arnold knew exactly what he was talking about!  They chose to have a small ceremony and celebration in Tammy’s favorite city of Charleston.  This White Point Gardens Wedding had one of the smallest guest lists we’ve ever seen.  It certainly made for a relaxing and easy day!

Tammy really did her research ahead of time and found Magnolia Plantation and Gardens to use for their First Look and photography.  Luckily for them, spring decided to come a little early this year and we were able to use all kinds of beautiful flowers.  We even got to do their First Look on the famous white bridge.  Tammy fit right into the scenery with her pink dress and fuzzy pink wrap.  We were just delighted to spend the afternoon with them, walking around the grounds creating stunning images.  Some highlights included using some ancient oak trees which were dripping with spanish moss, and posing next to the Ashley River.  We were escorted around on a golf cart by the Magnolia employee Logan, and he even joined in to help us for a few shots too!

The White Point Gardens wedding was intimate and sweet.  Tammy and Arnold stood inside the gazebo surrounded by their family as they exchanged vows and became husband and wife.  Furthermore, an absolutely breath-taking sunset graced us with its presence right after the ceremony as well.  Of course we made use of that for some photos!

Afterwards, the reception immediately followed at the Charleston restaurant PawPaw.  The was cozy, charming, and filled with the delicious smells of amazing food.  It was a pleasure to be involved even until the very end!  Special thanks goes out to Katie from ELM Events for helping Tammy and Arnold plan such a wonderful day!
