The day of Karley and Nate’s Osprey Point wedding dawned clear and perfect.

A beautiful day is just how we all imagined it would through all the months of planning.  The number one trait you notice in this couple and their relationship is the obvious joy they share for one another and for life.  At the wedding, we quickly discovered that this joy is mirrored throughout their family and friends as well!  So much joking and laughter was had by all throughout the entire day!

Risking sounding like a shallow photographer for a minute, Karley and Nate make a perfect match for one another physically.  They are just so darn easy to photograph is is silly!  Karley and Nate both moved for the camera in ways that would make any photographer fall in love with them instantly!  They further endeared themselves to us by choosing to structure their day around a First Look for their Osprey Point wedding. The First Look happened at the luxurious Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort.  It was during their first look that we were able to capture some really beautiful, intimate moments of Karley and Nate reading special vows to one another. These vows were a little more personal than the vows they planned to say at the ceremony later.  Doing such a special thing during this private time gives us the chance to capture some truly raw and emotional images that would not have necessarily been able to happen at the ceremony.

After capturing some images of the two of them on the grounds at The Sanctuary, we headed over to the wedding site at Osprey Point Golf Course.  The ceremony was beautiful and sweet.  The best part might have been the rather unique visitor that soared overhead during the wedding: a bald eagle!  For Nate’s hugely patriotic family, this was especially appreciated!  The entire grounds and ballroom at Osprey Point are stunning.  It made a perfect backdrop for am Osprey Point wedding and reception.  We even got to finish the night off with some super cool images of Nate and his groomsmen smoking cigars!  All the best to Karley and Nate!!  We feel so privileged to have been able to document your big day!
