Amanda & Stephen's Middleton Wedding

What a chilly, yet beautiful, day we had for Amanda and Stephen’s Middleton Wedding!

Amanda and Stephen are a perfect match and a great example of opposites attracting!  Amanda is sweet and bubbly where Stephen can be quiet and professional – what a exceptional blend of personalities to bring together and to photograph!  Back when we did their engagement session, I don’t think we stopped laughing together throughout the entire session.  Amanda has a way about her that makes you feel like you’ve been best friends with her your entire life.  If the two of them lived in Charleston, you can bet there would be some double dates happening!  Their day was early spring and as mild and clear as anyone could hope for.  Having a Middleton wedding is one those things that a little girl growing up in Charleston dreams about her whole life, and Amanda got the perfect one.  Cindy from Engaging Events worked her magic again with a great schedule and beautiful flowers!  Once we met Amanda’s parents, it was easy to see where she gets her joyful attitude from.  Just about every guest at this wedding made us feel like we were just part of the family.  Some of our favorite things about photographing a Middleton wedding are the historic oaks, the elaborate pathways between the perfectly manicured landscaping, and having the background of the legendary home on the property.  Everything there is so true to the history of the property that it feels like an honor to shoot a wedding there.  Capturing the majesty with us on video was Artistic Eye Productions.  The best part of the day for us was getting to capture the First Look between the bride and groom.  It doesn’t matter how long we have been photographing weddings, I will never get tired of seeing that excitement and chemistry just explode from two people that are so in love with each other they just can’t hide it.  The reception was held in the Carriage House and was fun for everyone!  Delicious cake and desserts from Jaclyn Story at Gala Desserts and a rocking dance floor due to Lee Edwards Entertainment, it was indeed a perfect night.  Thanks again to the wonderful couple and Cindy for having us on this perfect day!
